Batteries are a great way of storing your solar energy for use when the sun isn't shining but you don't need to have Solar PV to have battery storage.
Find out how battery storage could optimise your home energy usage today.
Contact UsThe Tesla Powerwall empowers you by storing solar energy for round-the-clock use, and protecting your home from grid outages by providing complete back-up power.
With real time system monitoring you can observe your energy production and consumption from the convenience of the Tesla app. More than that, you can set your system preferences to optimise management for either energy independence, savings, outage protection, and combinations of all three.
The system is fully automated so allowing you to enjoy the full
potential of your solar energy. A Tesla Powerwall system can also be

Some of our clients are now almost self-sufficient for their electricity usage, using smart PV systems and Tesla Powerwall batteries.
Here at AGMS Independent Energy we have been installing Tesla Powerwall's since 2017. For us, the Tesla Powerwall is simply the best home battery storage product available in terms of reliability, monitoring, features, build quality and ongoing product support.
Each Tesla Powerwall provides 13.5kWh energy storage capacity and 5kW of power output, which is sufficient to power an average household for a full day.
The system is modular, and multiple units can be fitted in various combinations either along a wall or as a space efficient ground mounted stack. The system can be easily expanded to cover your home's changing energy demands over time, for instance after installation of heat pumps, EV charging units and climate control. For most customers a Tesla Powerwall system is a core part of their transition to sustainable energy.
No solar, no problem.
You don't need a Solar PV system to take advantage of the Tesla Powerwall's intelligent features. Because of its inherent design, a Powerwall system can be installed in a completely standalone arrangement. It is a great option for customers who just want to reduce their electricity bills by utilising stored off-peak energy during peak times, and of course want to protect their home from grid outages.
We have also installed many Powerwall systems on properties unsuited to a conventional Solar PV. A Powerwall system can often be installed discretely in listed buildings and at properties with complicated roof layouts. Drop us a line to discuss your options.
Contact UsIn most cases installing a Tesla Powerwall is straightforward, and can either be installed at the same time as a new Solar PV system, retrofitted to an existing Solar PV system or as a completely standalone installation.
The Tesla Gateway (a battery control unit) will usually need to be located near the meter or main consumer unit to enable full home backup.
The Tesla Powerwall itself can be located wherever space is available, taking into account the routes for the power and control cabling from the Gateway.
The system is internet enabled for monitoring purposes, and to assist with any support issues (10 year warranty).
